I’m Lori Hill, owner of Pawsitive Dog Training. I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, with experience helping puppies, adult dogs, and their owners build better behavior through positive, customized training.

I provide private in-home dog training throughout Jupiter, Hobe Sound, and nearby communities, working directly with you and your dog in the environment where everyday behavior actually happens.

Came to our home and also had a session at the dog park. We appreciate her gentle approach.  We are more aware of what works and how to handle Ginger when interacting with other dogs and humans.

She has such a calm and reassuring presence, and she really takes the time to understand the dog and adjust the training to what works best for him. She is very knowledgeable and professional but also approachable and always quick to respond whenever we need help. She has taught us so many new things about how to better understand and work with Jimi, and we saw a huge improvement in a very short time. Goldendoodle and we were having a lot of difficulty especially with leash walking and listening to basic commands. After our sessions with Lori, there is a huge improvement and I feel confident taking my dog out in public, encountering other people and dogs, and with leash walking in general.  She was extremely responsive and reliable and met all of our needs. She has a very patient, positive approach with both dogs and people.  She's a great trainer for anyone looking for one!!

I knew the first time I met Lori, she was the right walker for my feisty four-legged fur-angel, Fozzie 🥰 And Foz even told me herself! Lori sends me updates via text after every walk and goes the extra mile with treats and meals, as needed. She is on top of it, so I don’t forget to schedule a walk. Fozzie appreciates it, too! Shortly after I adopted him at 9 weeks old and 11 lbs,  it became clear that he was going to be a lot larger than I had anticipated. I was overwhelmed and concerned that I would not be able to handle him. He is now 6 months old and 45 lbs! I met Lori through a referral from my groomer. Right  from our first meeting, it was clear that she was experienced and knowledgeable and would be able to help me.  We work together in her 9 visit program, and I feel much more comfortable and confident with Paxton.  Lori was very helpful and I am thankful to have worked with her. I also appreciate her flexibility and the convenience of training 1/1 in my own home. I highly recommend Lori!
